The difference between bush camping in Oz and an off-grid shepherds hut stay in the UK

At first glance you might not be aware of much difference, except the obvious hut itself, which replaces the tent or caravan, however this fact is the number 1, and most important, difference on my list of 8.
  1. In the UK, everything is set up, all you need to do is move your stuff in. No more obligatory marital disputes marring the start of your get-away.
  2. The owner of said shepard's hut greets you on site with complimentary tea/coffee, fresh milk and (wait for it) a home-baked lemon drizzle cake to enjoy with your first cuppa.
  3. In the UK, a short, brisk walk will take you across a field, or wood, past a castle or two or an abandoned jag, to a farm shop/teahouse where you can enjoy a full English breakfast or siphon yourself some local cider or scrumpy for later.
  4. In the UK, critters that a biologist might be looking for actually show themselves, leading to a most agreeable break for a spouse.
  5. In the UK, the stretcher or air mattress is replaced by a wrought iron bed with feather soft/white bedding.
  6. In the UK, after a hot bush shower, you get to lounge around the fire in complimentary supplied fluffy white robes.
  7. In the UK, there are no blowies, red backs, or wasp nests in the long drop dunny. Only sweet birdsong by candlelight.
  8. In the UK it's impossible to completely get away from everything, you can hear traffic, planes and church bells in the distance, however, does this point outway all the previous? .... I doubt it ⛺️

    1. The biologist has done that for you - apparently it's a Great Crested Newt and isn't sporting a crest because it's the wrong season for it 🦎
