The Getty Center

This amazing museum is nestled high above Los Angeles. The car park is at the bottom of the hill and you hop on a tram/cable car that takes you up to this architectural marvel with the most amazing gardens.

This glorious day started with a champagne brunch for Auntie Rosemarie's birthday and finished with a beautiful dinner at an Iranian restaurant.....to top it all off, Ian was able to photograph a Western Fence Lizard in the gardens, after trying in vain in the National Park for days.

City of Angels

After an 11 hour flight in our American Airline sardine-can we arrived just before 6am, successfully met up with Auntie Rosemarie who has been spoiling us ever since. Starting with a Californian breakfast with the famous bottomless cup.

She was very pleased to receive her iconic Australian iPad wallet made by instagram eva.in.stitches. Now if they'd only drive on the 'right' side - life would be perfect. Road trip coming up on Wednesday 🚗🚙🚗🚙
