Peru - day 1

Arrived in Lima at 10 to 6, all went very smoothly and our guide was waiting for us with 'Smales' sign in hand.

The drive to the hotel was indescribable! These drivers are insane. We both agreed that if Ian was to drive here, he would never get anywhere as you literally have to push in constantly to get anywhere as this is accomplished with insessant honking of the horn. The pedestrians and bike riders are equally insane. As we missed a day due to a flight cancellation we just regrouped and shopped for some necessities, like phone charger, hiking boots and the first case to fill with souvenirs.

5am flight tomorrow, so an early night tonight💜
