The Book!

Back home, in Birregurra, we realize that we live in the best little place in the world, for us
Thank you for following our adventure and for all the wonderful feedback you have provided.
As planned, this blog has been turned into a book. The printed version will serve as a photo album and travel diary for us, and the e-book is a chronologically correct, easy to down-load collection of all our photographs.

Homeward Bound!

After final cocktails and Bintangs we had to leave beautiful Sea Echo Balian and 'Friendly Floaties' to start our last leg home.
After a night in a Melbourne Airport hotel we handed over Brighomii to its loving owner, met up with Steve & Fiona again and ended our epic journey the same way we started it, just in reverse - Skybus to Southern Cross, Vline to Birregurra, walk to a somewhat overgrown Hollyhock Cottage - it's been a blast!
Thank you Tahli, Lara, Jonathan & David 💜💜💜💜
Mixed feelings about heading home, me thinks 😉
Time for a cuppa ☕️

We left the very Best 'til Last!

After London we flew to Bali, to a small village on the west coast called Pengasahan. There, we spent 5 glorious days at our beautiful son-in-law's parents' holiday residence, called Sea Echo Balian - www.balianhouse.com
We are very grateful for Sarah & Tim Day's generosity which allowed us share the residence with Fiona & Steve and Eva & Peter.
They say that a picture tells a thousand words but in this case they don't do Sea Echo Balian justice. I tried my best to capture the spirit of our relaxed stay here; a perfect retreat to recharge our batteries. For all of us this was our 1st visit to Bali and, whilst the experience affected us all differently, the magic of Sea Echo Balian will stay with us forever.
Thank you so much Timpa & Granny 💜💜
